Overview

The document outlines general specifications and requirements applicable to all micronutrient products in all formats except parenterals, procured by UNICEF. Product-specific specifications are detailed in solicitation activities, Long-Term Arrangement Contracts, and Purchase Orders. Suppliers must adhere to both the technical requirements and unique product specifications, as they complement each other. 

It covers requirements for micronutrient products procured by UNICEF, including sections on:

  • Regulatory compliance and alignment with international standards (GMP, pharmacopeias)
  • Manufacturing, stability, packaging, and labelling requirements
